THE SINGING KETTLE - MAGIC WISHING WELL

This was a first for me and my 4 year old boy.

Armed with our favourite hats and a bucket we went to The King's Theatre full of intrigue and excitement.

My knowledge of The Singing Kettle was vague at best, something to do with a kettle and singing? What does this Kettle do? Why is it so powerful? The object of child worship that has entertained generations for years.

With an open mind and a clueless 4 year old we found our seats and waited for the show to begin.

The show opened with Anya, Kevin and Gary in colourful garb, singing and introducing us to Kettle Village Square and the Magic Wishing Well.

The Wishing Well as you might imagine grants wishes, the first of which was the fabled Kettle! Contained within was a clue to a song! From that point on we were entertained with music, dancing, comedy and host of funny characters that made this a great show. Audience participation was also a great part of the show, The show lasted almost two hours, with interval.

I would totally recommend seeing the Singing Kettle if you get a chance.
