American Performing Arts International are making a very welcome return to the Fringe with their “Best of…” shows.  This year they have Best of Broadway, Best of Broadway Ballads, Best of Movie Musicals, and the show I saw today, Best of the West End.

This very talented group of musical theatre performers always give an extremely slick and professional show, and today’s was no exception to this.  With songs from some of the most popular current West End musicals including Wicked, Spamalot, The Secret Garden, and Les Miserables, they had the audience enthralled from the opening number.  Whether performing comic, romantic or tragic songs, they get the mood of the performance just right, and the show went by all too quickly.

If you simply want to listen to some world-class performers singing great show songs, in the most comfortable seats at the Fringe, this is the show to come to.
